Refund Policy

At Mixed By OB (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality music mixing, mastering, and audio editing services. Due to the creative and customised nature of our work, we have a clear refund policy in place to ensure transparency and fairness for all parties.

1. Non-Refundable Deposits

• A non-refundable deposit of [insert % or £ amount] is required to secure your project in our schedule.

• This deposit covers initial consultation, project preparation, and file management.

2. Refunds Before Work Commences

• If you cancel your project before any work has started (beyond the deposit stage), and you have paid additional funds, we may refund those additional amounts at our discretion.

• The deposit remains non-refundable.

3. Refunds After Work Has Commenced

• Once we have begun working on your project, no refunds will be issued.

• We are happy to work with you through the agreed revision rounds to ensure satisfaction.

4. Revisions Policy

• Mixing and mastering packages include 5 rounds of revisions (as per our Terms and Conditions).

• Additional revisions may be offered at an agreed hourly or per-track rate.

• Dissatisfaction is not a valid reason for a refund once work has commenced, but we aim to resolve concerns through collaboration.

5. Technical Faults or Errors

• If a delivery issue or technical fault occurs on our side (e.g., corrupted file, incorrect version), we will rectify it promptly at no extra cost.

• Refunds are not given for minor technical issues that are resolved quickly.

6. Missed Deadlines

• We aim to meet agreed timelines, but cannot be held liable for delays due to client non-responsiveness, incomplete materials, or external technical issues.

• Refunds for missed deadlines are not typically offered but may be considered if delay was solely our fault and significant.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

• Any attempt to reverse payments or file unjustified disputes with your bank or payment provider without contacting us first may result in service cancellation and legal action.

• We strongly encourage open communication to resolve any issues fairly.

 

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund (if eligible), please email us at mixedbyob77@gmail.com with:

• Your name

• Project name or reference

• Date of payment

• Reason for the request

We aim to respond within 3 working days.
